New York Baby!!
I have waited so long to come and see the Big apple and I finally made it!!
On the Staton Island Ferry. Mason slept!
AT the Marriot Hotel on Times square, where we stayed!
Chanel Street! We went via subway and when we got there it stunk. And of course my plan was so to buy a purse! So we started walking and a chinese lady came up to me and said, you buy purse, good price?! So we followed her down the block and around a corner that wasn't very busy, and she ushered us to another lady, that gave us fold up cards of pictures of purses. We chose 2 that we wanted to see and waited for like 10 min for them to bring, them, then when they did; they brought them in a big black bag and said "you no take out of the bag!" so we had to look at it in the sack. But we wanted to see them all in person, so the main lady say Follow me I take you, but baby no come. I said well he kinda has too, she say, baby no come. so we followed her to a shop and looked around at some of the stuff and then they opened a wall and took us down this little wooden stair case to the basement where we were able to look at the purses in person!! It was so awesome and funny, before we could go back up they had to walkie to the other one to see if it was ok to come back up! Needless to say we got some cute purses!! And the experience was the best part!!
LITTLE ITALY
Just around the corner from China town we went to little italy and looked around, Mason had been good all day, but finally decided he had had enough and decided to cause quite a scene! So he started screaming at the top of his little lungs, almost inconsolable!! It was Crazy, and there were all these outside restaurants and so EVERYONE was staring at us, while we all stood there trying to figure out what to do. A man from one of the restaurants brought us over a glass of ice water and we gave some to Mason and myself since I was SO red! He finally stopped crying and we moved on! But it was quite interesting!!
It was very beautiful! And Huge! It was built in 1858 and holds 2400 people!
Central Park! it was Huge and very pretty, you couldn't even hear the city once inside!
The LOVE statue! A Couple was there getting their wedding pictures!
TIMES SQUARE!! SO busy and full of lots to see!
WE even had breakfast on the street in Times Square, they have roads blocked off and lots of lawn chairs that you can sit in, so we had bagels and muffins on Times Square!
It was sure fun!! Mason was very good the entire trip, but we will always remember little Italy!! haha! He even slept like a champ at the hotel! He was happy and talking and enjoying the sight-seeing with mom!!
New York turned out to be good for more than one reason too, besides getting to go there and enjoy it. Mason now sleeps in his bed and not his swing! We are so happy, and we think that he is sleeping better because of it. He is a Great baby and we love him tons!!
It was so great getting to go to the big city, I hope to go again, maybe at the end of the summer and maybe Marcus and I will go to a show. It was an awesome experience and we saw so much in a short amount of time!
